Please join us for the Desertlands/Sacred Lands conference to be held at the University of California (Palm Desert Campus), sponsored by the Native American Land Conservancy, the Trust for Public Land, and the California Center for Native Nations (University of California, Riverside)

The Desertlands/Sacred Lands conference begins with an evening reception from 6.00-8.30 on Friday, October 30, and continues with an all day session on Saturday, October 31. There will be presentations from Tribes, state and federal agencies, conservation organizations, and recreational user-groups, which share a concern for the future of California's desert lands. There is no registration fee for the conference.

A block of rooms for the conference is reserved at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa at 32-250 Bob Hope Drive in Rancho Mirage. There are two Agua Caliente hotels. This one is just off I-10 on the west side of the highway. The room rates are: Thursday night, $99 and Friday and Saturday nights, $119. For hotel reservations, please contact the hotel no later than October 9 by 5.00 (PST) by calling 800-854-1279 and refer to the Desert Lands/Sacred Lands conference or use the reservation code 0910UCREXT.
